It is very difficult to be awarded a scholarship.
Often our most talented to do not qualify - our most dedicated do.
Seniors that have been notified they are eligible may now move forward in the process for scholarship applications. Please follow the remaining of the application information for instructions, and send the link to the orange button below this text to two teachers/supervisors for the recommendation portion of the process. Please remember everything else you need to have created to submit will need to be in a Google Drive Folder, and that folder will need to be shared with the booster scholarship email located below.
All remaining scholarship materials are due by April 11th at 3:00pm.

The Application is FULLY digital this year.
You will download the SAEV form, print it out and sign and then bring it to Mr. Oliver. He will approve or not approve it and will let you know if it is not approved. If approved and signed by Mr. Oliver, he will forward the application to your counselor. Once they sign the form, the form will be returned to Mr. Oliver and he will deliver it to the booster club for you.
The SAEV form is due to the Scholarship Committee by Friday, March 1st by 3:00 pm.

- SVII Booster Club awards a minimum of 2 SVII Scholarships annually.
- All Scholarship awards are announced & presented at the end of year SVII Banquet.
Thom Whitbeck Memorial Scholarship
A minimum of 2 Scholarship awards are awarded at the Studio VIII Theatre Co. Banquet each year. The amount varies based on application evaluation and available funds, but qualified applicants typically receive something.
Whitbeck Scholarship criteria:
Prior to submitting your application for a Studio VII scholarship, it is very important that you meet all of the eligibility requirements.
Applicant must be a paid/active member of the Studio VII Theatre Co. and have been a member of the Theatre Company for at least three years. (This requirement may be waived for transfer students with less than three years at SLHS, but who demonstrate a commitment to theatre at previous school, immediately become involved in Studio VII Theatre Co. upon arrival and meet all other requirements.)
Applicant must have earned a minimum of 60 Thespian points.
Applicant must be a graduating senior in good standing at Seven Lakes High School with a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 and an exemplary discipline record and with no misdemeanors pending review.
Applicant must have less than 8 demerits since becoming an inducted Thespian.
Applicant must have no more than 4 absences from company meetings your senior year.
Parent or legal guardian MUST be a current 2023-2024 Booster Club member which includes a $25 fee.
SLHS ComedySportz HSL Dustin Kruthaupt Memorial Scholarship
- One $1000 Scholarship awarded annually to the MVP.
- MVP determined/voted by the ComedySportz HSL team.
2024 STUDIO VII Scholarship Application
IMPORTANT DATES:
Friday, March 1st, 2024: Deadline for submitting the 2024 Scholarship Applicant Eligibility Verification form (SAEV form). Completion of this form requires signatures from Mr. Oliver, the Thespian Troupe director, and your SLHS counselor. Mr. Oliver will submit your SAEV form to your counselor and to the Booster Club. You will not see this form again, once you submit it to Mr. Oliver.
Friday, March 22nd, 2024: Students who submitted the SAEV form on or before March 1st, will receive confirmation of their eligibility on or before this date.
Thursday, April 11th, 2024: Deadline for submitting the remaining 2024 Scholarship application form and supporting materials.
Friday, May 10th, 2024: Recipients of the 2024 Studio VII Theatre Co. Scholarships will be announced at the year-end banquet.
